On the 31st of March we
take off from MPX (Milano Malpensa)
directed to JFK (New
York)
..
7 hours with transversal
legs in a narrow seat....
..
THAN....the magnificent
PAUL SPRING with two beautiful bunches of
flowers
welcomed Francesca and
Franco, and offered with his
spouse GAIL the
true american hospitality
..
The following day, after a
short drive all toghether we reached
Farmington (CT), where we
had the pleasure to meet in person
DEBORAH
KRASNER
She is going to write an
interesting book on the Best Olive Oils in the World
Nicely she gave us a local
delicacy to carry home and share with
the
family
..
On Monday April 2nd, after
a PERFECT stay in Gail & Paul's home,
we went back to
NYC.
..
The meeting with
GIGI
& CAESAR BERTOT
gave us not only the
opportunity
to share the rentals
Francesca's experience with them,
but also the sensation to
have found two new FRIENDS.
We want include the italian
lunch, we had toghether at
SERAFINA'S
RESTAURANT
delicious
..
Than the flight to
Washington DC, where in the afternoon we met our friend
SUSAN
MELLUPS
who will try to plan our
next seminar in Washington DC
..
Breathing shortly, we had
the time to take off for Pittsburgh (PA) where
BARBARA
AND QUENTIN McQUENNA
our friends since long
time
invited us for the second
year to have a seminar in their
fantastic
HYEHOLDE RESTAURANT
on the 3rd of
April
..
We must now mention all the
perfect Staff, the good food,the
friendly atmosphere of
HYEHOLDE
and of course the wonderful
attendees
..
The 4th of April
saw us taking off and
landing twice
Pittsburgh(PA)-ORD (Chigaco
IL)
then
ORD-
Milwaukee(WI)
This second take off has
been peculiar because of a
flap
breakage.
BUT
even if late... ELISSA FRANKE GOLD & her husband TIM
warmly welcomed us in their
home
where we found not only
friendship and atmosphere
but also an unbelivable and
unforgettable Dinner with
Elissa,Terry,Roger,Tim,Francesca,Linda,Jack
ended with a good italian
grappa
..
On the 5th at the
MAC
thanks to Patty Matthews
we had some 100 attendees
enjoying the benefits of the
extra virgin olive
oil
..
That's how we "flew back"
by bus to Chicago (IL)
no
comment!
then....
where four
witches
Emily,Denise,Davi,Maureen
have
organized
in their Wine House a
warm
meeting with
Iowans!
